United Testing Systems Canada offers a complete range of Test Blocks, Indenters, and accessories for your hardness testing requirements.

Each diamond Indenter is mounted in conformity with its grain structure to assure balanced pressure and prevent early wear or breakage, precision ground, lapped and polished. We also subject each diamond indenter to a strict performance test before it is approved and certified for sale. All diamonds and indenters are supplied with a traceable ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate and meet the requirements of ASTM-E18 and ASTM-E384.

We offer a complete range of Standardized Rockwell Hardness Test Blocks and Indenters. HRC Test Blocks are directly traceable to NIST. Each Standardized Rockwell HardnessTest Block is supplied with a traceable ISO/IEC 17025 accredited Certificate. All our Rockwell Test Blocks meet the requirements of ASTM-E18 available with GRID etching.

All of our Standardized Brinell Hardness Test Blocks come certified to applicable standards. A strict procedure for the calibration of these standardized Brinell Hardness Test Blocks, and the accuracy of the tester is maintained using a proving ring and load cell both traceable to N.I.S.T. The readings themselves are done using a stage micrometer also calibrated and traceable to N.I.S.T.

Our range of Standardized Vickers Hardness Test Blocks exeed industry standards. All of our standardized Micro Hardness Test Blocks are mirror-polished and mounted to provide the best possible surface. Each mirror-polished Heavy Load standardized Vickers Hardness Test Block has the same surface area provided by our standardized Rockwell Test Blocks, so that you get the most test opportunities for your money. All standardized HardnessTest Blocks are supplied with a traceable ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate. All our Micro Test Blocks meet the requirements of ASTM-E92. Note: When ordering please specify Knoop or Vickers, Load and the Hardness Range Number you require.

Published by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Recommended Practice Guide, Rockwell Hardness Measurement of Metallic Materials, is essential reading for anyone concerned with hardness testing.
