Springs are vital components employed in many products we use and rely upon every day, from automobiles to medical devices. Measuring the spring rate, or relationship between force or torque and deflection, is a common requirement to ensure proper functioning in the spring's intended application.

The ESM1500 and ESM 750 are highly configurable single-column force testers for tension and compression measurement applications with capacities of 1,500lbf (6.7kN) and 750lbf (3.4kN).Suitable for laboratory and production environments apart from break testing, cycling, limit testing to a load or distance, loadholding, elongation testing, tensile testing, compression testing, and more. The available FollowMe® facilitates crosshead positioning for sample setup.
