Aerospace & Supplies Testing

From component manufacturers to aircraft assemblers to airlines and militaries, force and torque measurement is critical in ensuring passenger safety and aircraft performance. Whether conforming to international or internally developed standards suppliers to the aerospace industry rely upon applications and products as diverse as tensile testing, wire crimp testing, spring testing, fastener torque testing and many others.

United Universal Hydraulic Testing Machine SHFM Series
United High Capacity Smart Hydraulic Universal Testing Machine Model (SHFM) tension and compression testing machines with computer control are available with capacities from 300 kN (67,500 lbf) to 2,000 kN (450,000 lbf). Avaiable with extended columns. United SMART Testing Machines meet the requirements of ASTM E-8, ASTM E-9 and ASTM E-83.
Carbon Fiber Test System
The United Automatic Carbon Fiber Tester is designed to automatically (without operator intervention) test up to 200 specimens of carbon fiber in one setup. For easy record keeping and generating reports, specimen data are entered into the test software via barcode. The diameter of each fiber specimen is measured by a laser diffraction measuring system.
United Multistation System
Two words best describe the benefits afforded by United's multi-station testing systems: HIGH PRODUCTIVITY. Test up to six samples at once for the cost of about two stand-alone units.
