.JPG) ELAST Long Stroke Extensometer dedicated to value % elongation of rubber, high elongation plastics, foam and similar materials. This Extensometer is specially indicated to tensile tests on table-top machines the Extensometer is self-standing and is placed on the back of the testing machine.
Every arm of ELAST Extensometer is connected to a high-resolution encoder. The arms are free to move avoiding sample drag effect; adjustable counterweights assure the minimum drag force. The measurement results are easily configured using a computer assisted procedure that helps the operator in the device setup.
