COVID-19 UPDATE

United Testing Systems Canada Limited is providing service, maintenance and calibrations of Material Testing Equipment to the Medical Industry, Department of National Defense, Automotive, Steel and Manufacturing Facilities and is therefore an Essential Service Provider.

As we proceed through these extraordinary and challenging times, our in-house calibration laboratory remains open, however turnaround times may be longer than normal.
Our field service and calibration departments remain available to customers who are deemed an “Essential Service Provider”. If you require our onsite service at this time, we will require documentation of your company rules and regulations in dealing with COVID-19, prior to scheduling our services. United Testing Systems Canada Limited has implemented strict rules and ask that all parties ensure compliance while our representatives are onsite at your facility.

Depending upon the location of the equipment to be serviced or calibrated the following will apply:

PLANT FLOOR: No customer’s personnel or 3rd party contractors shall work or encroach our technician within 3 meters while we are servicing the equipment.

ENCLOSED LABORATORIES:  No customer’s personnel or 3rd party contractors shall work or encroach our technician within 3 meters while we are servicing the equipment. If it is not possible to adhere to our 3 meter policy, then all customer’s personnel and 3rd party contractors, must vacate the lab during the service or calibration time. 

Customers work area around the equipment to be serviced (ie. keyboard, mouse, control consoles, load cells, and any point of contact), will be sanitized by our technician prior to starting the service or calibration.
In case when operator assistance is required, mask, safety glasses, and gloves shall be worn by both parties. Physical distancing shall be observed by all parties at all times.  

If any of the requested measurements are infringed upon, our technician may at his discretion abort the service and leave the facility.

Our Technicians are also expected to abide by our customer’s company rules and regulations, please ensure that we are made aware of these rules prior to our arrival.
